Monday at the WKSF brings Motor Cross to the grandstands

Monday kicks off a week full of events, activities and rides at the Western Kentucky State Fair.

Gates open at 4:30 p.m., with the return of the petting zoo in the new livestock pavilion, and rides open at 5 p.m. with unlimited ride armbands at $20 per person. Fair Board President Brad Hewell says aside from all that, there’s more food options than people could ever really eat—though you’re welcome to try.

He says they’ll have Motor Cross in the grandstand starting at 7 p.m.

Hewell reports that attendance is up so far this year, with 4,693 people attending Sunday night. The Ms. Plus Pageant will take place in the air-conditioned convention center.  Full schedule of events can be found online at westerkentuckystatefair.org.
