The Hopkinsville Police Department is investigating the theft of a motor vehicle and numerous tools from South Virginia Street.
According to the police report, an unknown suspect unlawfully took a truck that was containing a large amount of hand tools—altogether, the value of the stolen items and the vehicle was listed at $23,000.
No suspects are listed on the report and the incident is being investigated as felony auto theft and felony theft by unlawful taking.
