Madisonville is gearing up for one of the region’s biggest festivals starting on Friday and going through the weekend—the fourth Fest and Praise in the Park.
The three-day event is free to attend and will have live music at almost even given moment, starting with country music night on Friday. Events and Marketing Coordinator Lucy Bess says the gates open at 3 p.m. each day, and they’ll have a slew of country music artists Friday.
Then Saturday night is 90’s Dance night, where people will be able to get up and move to several artists, including Vanilla Ice.
Then Sunday is the ever-popular praise in the park that will wrap up the event, which will be home to activities and over 35 different food trucks.
Then this year’s fireworks show will be on Tuesday, July 4th, following the Madisonville Miner’s Game in Madisonville City Park. For more information on the Fourth Fest and Praise in the Park, visit Madisonville, KY Events.
