Detectives with the Hopkinsville Police Department’s Special Investigation Unit have charged two individuals after an investigation at the Roadway Inn Thursday.
According to a news release, a search warrant was executed as the Roadway Inn and during the search, detectives located suspect methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and a sum of money consistent with trafficking narcotics.
Fifty-year-old Jewell Jones Jr. of Hopkinsville was arrested and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Another occupant in the room, 26-year-old Briana Williams, was arrested on warrants for non-payment of court costs, fees or fines.
