A juvenile is facing numerous charges following a foot pursuit on Glass Avenue Thursday night.
According to the Hopkinsville police report, officers responded to the 1300 block of Glass Avenue for reports of individuals that were not supposed to be on the property. When contact was made with the group, one individual began to walk away—when officers attempted to stop him, the juvenile ran away.
During the pursuit the juvenile allegedly tossed away a gun when he fell. He reportedly had hollow point ammunition and over $2,000 in his possession.
He was arrested and charged with second-degree fleeing or evading police, possession of a handgun by a minor, tampering with physical evidence and use of restricted ammunition during a felony.
