The Highway 41-Yard Sale gets underway Friday and goes through Saturday, as bargain hunters look to take advantage of the deals.
People will be able to find sales in Hopkinsville, Pembroke, Crofton, Trenton, Guthrie, Earlington and Madisonville and Hopkinsville Convention and Visitors Bureau Executive Director Brooke Jung say they already know a plethora of sales will be set up locally.
That includes at the Trail of Tears Park by the Visitor’s Center on East Ninth Street, and Jung says people can still set up there for a $15 donation if they’re looking for a place, or pick up a free Highway 41-Yard Sale sign for their location.
She says events like this and the 400-Mile Yard Sale brings numerous visitors to the area, and they do more than just shop while they’re here.
You can find out more about the event, or about what sales are set up and where, by visiting the Highway 41-Yard Sale Facebook page. The event extends all the way to Henderson.
