Free agent running back Dalvin Cook appeared on “The Adam Schefter Podcast” on Monday and said that it would be “epic for the NFL” if he and Hopkins signed with the same team before the 2023 season. Cook complimented Hopkins as a player and as a person, adding that the two share a similar competitive mindset. The former Viking claimed he hasn’t talked to Hopkins about a potential team-up, but said that he’s “going to reach out to” him.

(Nashville, TN) — Three players on the Titans are cracking a new “top-100” list. Pete Prisco with CBS Sports ranked the best players in the league and has Derrick Henry at number-30 overall. He says, “playing behind a terrible offensive line, he finished second in the league in rushing with 1,538 yards and also scored 13 touchdowns.” Prisco also ranked Jeffery Simmons at 43 and Kevin Byard at 100.

(Boston, MA) — Patriots cornerback Jack Jones is facing serious charges. According to the Boston Globe, Jones is expected to be arraigned today in East Boston District Court on weapons charges. Courthouses were closed Monday in observance of Juneteenth. Jones was arrested Friday after two firearms were found in his travel luggage at Boston’s Logan International Airport. He was charged with two counts each of possession of a concealed weapon in a secure area of the airport, possession of ammunition without a firearm identification card, unlawful possession of a firearm, carrying a loaded firearm and possession of a large-capacity feeding device.

(Undated) — Future Hall of Famer J.J. Watt could be making the jump to the booth next season. The New York Post reports the recently retired NFL defensive end has several offers to become a part-time TV analyst. The report says that CBS is viewed as the favorite to land Watt, with both NBC and the NFL Network also expressing interest. Watt retired this past season after a historic career with the Houston Texans and Arizona Cardinals. The five-time Pro Bowler led the NFL in sacks twice while playing for the Texans.
