A woman was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center Tuesday morning after she struck a Hopkinsville Fire Department station on Skyline Drive.
It happened about 6 a.m. at Station 2 on Skyline Drive, according to HFD Lt. Payton Rogers, when a vehicle struck the side of the fire station. It caused moderate damage to both the exterior and interior of the building. It is believed the crash was caused by a medical emergency.
The driver, 60-year-old Paula Robinson of Hopkinsville, was transported to Jennie Stuart for leg pain. No firefighters or EMS personnel were injured in the incident.
