Unemployment was up slightly from April to May in Kentucky.
The May jobless rate was 3.8 percent, according to the Kentucky Center for Statistics, up from 3.7 percent in April and the same as May 2022.
The U.S. seasonally adjusted jobless rate for May 2023 was 3.7 percent, which was up three tenths of a point from April, according to the U.S. Department of Labor.
