A rear-end collision Monday afternoon on I-24 in Christian County injured two people.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Office investigated and determined 65-year old Guadalupe Rodriguez of Wisconsin was stopped with traffic in the construction zone near the 89 mile-marker when he was rear-ended by a westbound vehicle operated by 63-year old Theresa Lykins of Hopkinsville.
Lykins reportedly told police she saw traffic stopped and that had looked down to turn off her cruise control before the crash occurred.
Lykins and a passenger in the front vehicle, 67-year old Alice Strasser of Wisconsin, were both taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for multiple injuries.
