Muhlenberg County man arrested for online child exploitation charges

Investigation by the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch has led to the arrest of a Muhlenberg County man on child exploitation charges.

A news release says 48-year old Timothy Floyd Nannie was arrested on charges related to child sexual abuse material as a result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation.

KSP began the investigation after discovering the suspect sharing images of child sexual exploitation online.

Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination, according to a news release, which says the investigation is ongoing.

Nannie is currently charged with five counts of distribution of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance, under 12 years old and five counts of possession of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance, under 12 years old.
