A Hopkinsville man is facing a burglary charge after he allegedly went inside an occupied Walnut Street apartment Monday night without permission.

The victim fled the home after 40-year old Quinton Torian of Hopkinsville entered at about 7:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of Walnut and arriving officers found him sleeping inside while wearing the resident’s necklace, according to the report.

The victim told police she did not know Torian and that she had never invited him into her apartment.

Torian was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary.
