Vandalism has been an ongoing problem in Hopkinsville’s city parks and damage was reported over the weekend at Joe Mumford Park on Woodmill Road.
A Hopkinsville police report says an unknown suspect broke the door handle to the restroom at Joe Mumford Park and then broke the hand soap dispenser inside the restroom once inside.
The restrooms at Joe Mumford Park and Debow Park have been closed outside of special events due to vandalism.
