Hopkinsville police are investigating a robbery from Sunday morning on Raymond Burse Court.
A 27-year old woman told investigators that a person she knows took her to the ground and began to choke and hit her, before fleeing the scene with her phone in an incident that happened about 11 a.m. in the 3000 block of Raymond Burse.
The victim sustained minor injuries in the incident, according to the report.
