Indictments returned for rape, robbery

A Christian County Grand Jury has returned multiple indictments Friday, including for charges of rape, robbery and strangulation.

Indicted for two counts of first-degree rape is 19-year old Kenneth Back of Hopkinsville. Back is accused of forcing a female victim into sexual intercourse twice on November 30. The arrest warrant alleges that Back and the victim were walking together on the Hopkinsville rail trail when Back asked the victim for sex.

When she refused, Back allegedly forced her into sexual intercourse under a bridge and then forced her again later in a wooded area. The victim and Back had been in an on and off relationship, according to the warrant.

Indicted for second-degree robbery is 43-year-old Deoreo Wilson of Hopkinsville. The indictment states that Wilson used or threatened to use physical force on a victim on April 23 while committing a theft.
