Investigation of a shots fired incident late Sunday night in Madisonville led to the arrest of two suspect on multiple charges.
Madisonville police were notified just before midnight of a man firing a gun from his vehicle at the Cross Creek Apartments on Island Ford Road and witnesses were able to give a vehicle description.
Flock cameras helped locate the car and officers made contact with 24-year old Ricky Horton of Madisonville at Nebo Road and Yorkwood Place.
The arrest citation says a search revealed a handgun and a rifle that had been reported stolen in Georgia and investigation determined Horton to allegedly be under the influence of alcohol.
A passenger, 22-year old Dustin Ellis of Nortonville, reportedly told police Horton fired the shots because he was angry over no one speaking up when his apartment was burglarized.
Horton was arrested and charged with three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, his third DUI, driving on a DUI suspended license and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
Ellis is charged with three counts of wanton endangerment and receiving a stolen firearm.
