A wanted fugitive from Louisville was arrested Tuesday in Madisonville.
Officials there say a U.S. Marshals Task Force officer assigned to Louisville contacted Madisonville police about 46-year old Louis Coleman of Louisville being in the area and investigation determined him to be at a local apartment complex.
Madisonville police observed Coleman getting into a vehicle and they performed a traffic stop on Island Ford Road near Interstate 69.
Coleman was arrested and served with Jefferson County warrants for first-degree burglary, wanton endangerment, terroristic threatening and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
He’s also facing charges in Madisonville of possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
