A pair of small earthquakes just west of Calhoun in McLean County were felt by more than a few people in that area of western Kentucky.
The U.S. Geological Survey says a tremor registered at 3.0 on the Richter Scale at about 9:45 p.m. and four minutes later a 2.5 quake was recorded just west of the first. Respondents on the USGS website reported feeling shaking as far away as Owensboro, Madisonville and Evansville.
There were no reports of any damage or injuries with the tremors.
