It’s Memorial Day and there are three opportunities this morning to join others in honoring the memory of those who gave their lives protecting freedom.
VFW Post 1913 Commander John Brame says they will again host two services—one at 9 a.m. at Riverside Cemetery and one at 11 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
The community has supported both events over the years and Brame hopes people will continue to take time out of their holiday to honor the fallen.
Crofton hosts its Memorial Day service at 10 a.m. at the North Christian Veteran’s Memorial Park located behind Crofton City Hall on Highway 41, with Christian County Judge-Executive Jerry Gilliam to be among those speaking.
