This year’s grand opening was delayed by 24 hours, but Bluegrass Splash will open Sunday at noon.
The waterpark was supposed to open at 10 a.m. Saturday for the 2023 season, but officials say that was postponed for a health department pool inspection.
They issued an update Saturday afternoon, saying the inspection was completed and they were given the go-ahead to open.
It will be the first day under the name “Bluegrass Splash,” as the attraction had formerly been known as Tie Breaker Family Aquatic Center.
