An investigation Thursday by Hopkinsville police led to the arrest of a man on burglary and public intoxication charge.
The arrest citation for 49-year old Joseph Tidwell of Hopkinsville says he was observed sitting incoherently on top of a scooter in a garage in the 100 block of North Kentucky Avenue.
The resident did not know Tidwell and didn’t give him permission to be in her garage.
Police allege Tidwell struggled with officers and had to be tazed to be taken into custody.
He showed signs of being under the influence of drugs, according to the report, which says he’s charged with third-degree burglary, public intoxication and resisting arrest.
