Kentucky Wildcats

On Tuesday night, in the first round of the SEC tournament Kentucky fell to Alabama 4-0 at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium.

After around a 90 minute rain delay, the Wildcats just struggled to put balls into play as they hit into 17 outs in the game.

With the loss, Kentucky was eliminated from the SEC tournament and will await their NCAA tournament fate.

Western Kentucky Hilltoppers

On Wednesday night, the Hilltoppers defeated Florida Atlantic 10-9 in the first Conference USA Tournament at Houston Texas inside Reckling Park.

WKU had to overcome a 6-run deficit in the bottom of the 7th inning to tie things up and eventually win after a walk-off base hit from sophomore AJ Fletcher with two outs and the bases loaded.

On Thursday night, the Tops will try and take down the number one team in the tournament Dallas Baptist University at 7:30 once again in Reckling Park.

Murray State Racers

Murray State is starting off strong in the Missouri Valley Conference tournament in Terre Haute, Indiana as they have went 2-0 in the first two days in the tournament.

After pulling away in a win-or-go home game against Valparaiso 11-6 on Tuesday, they also managed to defeat number-two ranked Missouri State in the tournament on Wednesday 6-1.

The Racers now safe from immediate elimination (since Monday’s win) will look to stay in the win column as they will take on the Evansville Aces Thursday night at 6:30 PM.
