Teens charged after allegedly breaking business window, door

Three juveniles were charged after allegedly breaking the front glass of Pennyrile Machine on Walnut Street Sunday night.

The Hopkinsville police report says the teens caused about $2,400 worth of damage to the business by breaking the window and glass door about 9:30 p.m.

Police say one of the suspects attempted to run away to avoid arrest and all three struggled with officers taking them into custody.

They are charged with felony criminal mischief, resisting arrest and one of the teens is charged with fleeing or evading police.
