Forty seniors tossed their hats at University Heights Academy’s graduation for the class of 2023 Friday evening.
UHA boasted three valedictorians this year, including Katelyn Bennett, Seth Doer and Sophia Park, while Mallory Aldridge was this year’s Salutatorian for the academy that just recently celebrated its 50th anniversary earlier this year.
This was Tonya Oakley’s first graduation as Head of School, and she and other faculty handed out awards for Head of School, which went to Daven Daniel, the D.A.R. Citizenship Award, which was won by Olivia Smiley and the Norman J. Wiedmer Faculty Award, which went to Brett Pritchett.
