Stacy Crick to lead the Lady Colonel Golf Program

Press release from CCPS

Christian County High School Athletic Director Trey Wheeler has announced Stacy Crick has been named as the new head coach for the Lady Colonels golf program. Crick is currently employed as a school counselor with the district and has served as an assistant coach for the Colonel golf program in previous years.

“It is with great honor that I accept the CCHS Girls Golf Head Coaching Position,” said Coach Stacy Crick. “Golf has been a passion of mine since I was a little girl and I am humbled by the opportunity to share my love for the game with young athletes just beginning their golf journey.  I look forward to introducing girls to the etiquette of the game and developing and improving their performance.  My goal is to see the Girls Golf program at CCHS grow and for more girls to show interest in a sport that can be played well beyond the years of a competitive high school career.”

Crick played golf at Belmont University and Brescia University during her collegiate career.  She previously held the title of assistant golf coach for boys and girls at CCHS in 2008-09.  She was head girls golf coach at Hopkins County Central High School from 2012-2014.

“Christian County is thrilled about Coach Crick being our girls’ golf coach,” said AD Trey Wheeler. “We are looking forward to watching this program grow as she leads them. Her knowledge and experience as a player and Coach will help bring our program to new heights.”
