Caldwell County High School now has a new principal, after Daniel Kukahiko has been named to that position.
According to the Caldwell County School System, Kukahiko will be begin his new role on July 1 and began his teaching career at Hopkins County Central High School, where he spent six years as a special education teacher. He returned to Caldwell County High School in 2012 as a special education teacher and head coach of the Tiger basketball team. Kukahiko became an assistant principal at Caldwell County High School in 2021.
Caldwell County School System Superintendent Dr. Jeremy Roach says, “I am excited to have Mr. Kukahiko take the principal position at the high school. He has a long-standing proven track record for leadership and will be a great example to our students both personally and professionally.”
