The local Fraternal Order of Police will be hosting its annual Peace Officers Memorial service Thursday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Michael Velez says it’ll be at 4:30 p.m. at the memorial monument between the main fire station and Hopkinsville Police Department.
Velez says Christian County Judge-Executive Jerry Gilliam and Hopkinsville Police Chief Jason Newby will among those speaking and several local law enforcement organizations will be involved in the service.
