The 13th Annual Haiti Benefit Auction is set to take place this coming weekend and the public is invited out to take part in the auction, eat good food and raise money for a good cause.
Organizer Nate Overholt appeared on WHOP recently and says everything kicks off Friday with a catfish dinner at 4 p.m. at the Ag. Expo Center at the Christian County Ag. Extension Office on Pembroke Road. He says all money raised goes to benefit select and responsible missions in Haiti.
There will be some auctioning happening Friday, and the big auction gets under Saturday at 8 a.m., but first, you can get breakfast bright and early at 6 a.m.—Overholt says they’ll have more than enough items on hand to bid on.
Along with the main auction, there will also be quilt and furniture sales, a silent auction, singing programs and more activities to enjoy. For more information on the Haiti Benefit Auction, contact Overholt at 270-725-0320.
