A fight in the parking lot of the Wilma Rudolph Boulevard Walmart Sunday night ended with gunfire.
Clarksville police say a 911 call of shots fired came in just before 8 p.m. and officers found a male with a grazing gunshot wound to the hand.
Investigation determined the victim had tried to stop two women who were in a fight.
Another person grabbed the victim, causing a struggle that ended when his firearm discharged and he sustained the grazing wound.
The investigation into the incident continues and police say there is no threat to the public.
