Early voting began Thursday morning in Kentucky for the primary election and it continues through Saturday.
Christian County Clerk Melinda Humphries says voting goes from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day through Saturday at the Bruce Convention Center and Christian County Senior Center.
Turnout was very light during the absentee voting period and Humphries hopes Democrats and Republicans will get out and make their choices for nominees for the state’s constitutional officers.
While election officers will scan your ID at the voting center to be sure you get the proper ballot for your party, Humphries encourages voters to look over it on their own before filing in any bubbles.
Early voting in Todd County is at the courthouse on Washington Street in Elkton and in Trigg County, it’s at the Emergency Operations Center on Jefferson Street.
