Another defendant has had his trial date scheduled in connection with a June, 2022 armed home invasion at the residence of Charles ‘Bird Dog’ Paige.
Attorney Doug Rye represents 25-year old Michael Sims and while he says negotiations are continuing, he asked to have his case scheduled for October 30 to coincide with co-defendants who haven’t reached a plea deal.
Judge John Atkins scheduled Sims for trial and set a pre-trial conference for June 7.
