CCSO investigation leads to drug trafficking arrest

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office Anti-Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a Country Club Lane residence in Hopkinsville, resulting in an arrest on drug trafficking charges.

A news release says detectives searched a home in the 500 block of Country Club following a month-long investigation and they reportedly found prescription painkiller pills, marijuana, synthetic drugs, three guns, and cash. One of the guns had its serial number defaced, according to police.

Deputies arrested 27-year old Gregory Arnold of Hopkinsville on two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance, trafficking in marijuana, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, possession of a defaced firearm and possession of drug paraphernalia.
