Todd County shots fired investigation leads to drug arrest

A shots fired investigation Tuesday afternoon in Allensville led to the arrest of a man on drug trafficking charges.

Todd County Sheriff’s Sgt. Patrick Turner arrived at a Pace Street home about 1:20 p.m. and an arrest citation says there was an odor of marijuana coming from the home. Sgt. Turner knew one occupant of the home to be on probation and returned to the home with a probation officer after warning the pair to not fire gunshots in a residential area.

The officers were granted entry into the home and while looking for a gun, they located drug paraphernalia in plain view and a backpack containing two pounds of marijuana.

Sgt. Turner arrested 37-year old Roderick Osborne of Allensville for trafficking in marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
