Hopkinsville man arrested on rape warrant

A Hopkinsville man has been served with a warrant for an alleged rape that happened in November of last year.

It alleges that in the last week of November, 19-year old Kenneth Back of Hopkinsville and the victim were walking together on the Hopkinsville rail trail when Back asked the victim for sex.

When she refused, Back allegedly forced her into sexual intercourse under a bridge and then forced her again later in a wooded area. The victim and Back had been in an on and off relationship, according to the warrant.

Back was served with the warrant by the Todd County Sheriff’s Department and is charged with two counts of rape in the first-degree
