A trial date was set Wednesday morning for one of the suspects charged in connection with a June, 2022 armed home invasion at the residence of Charles ‘Bird Dog’ Paige.
Public defender Taylor Hoffman represents 24-year old Ajazion Johnson of Hopkinsville and told Judge John Atkins she was ready to schedule trial while Commonwealth’s Attorney Stephanie Bolen is still negotiating with some of the co-defendants.
Hoffman will also have a bond motion heard soon for Johnson, saying he’s willing to be on an ankle monitor.
Judge Atkins set the trial date for October 30.
