The local Focus 21st Century Minority Leadership Program recently graduated its Class of 2023.
It was at Pioneers, Inc. and the featured speaker was 2002 graduate Eva Martin, a teacher at Christian County High School and an adjunct instructor at Hopkinsville College of the Bible.
This year’s graduates were Darryl Anderson of the City of Hopkinsville, Stephanie Brewton from Magellan Health, Jamon Brisby of Lowe’s Home Improvement, Tracey Brumfield from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Marian Conolly of Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories, Khadjeh Donald from Zaxby’s, Crystal Ferreira of Jennie Stuart Health, Kechia Jones of Jennie Stuart Health, Toyia Martin from the Christian County Clerk’s Office, LaKisha McKnight from Jennie Stuart Health, Shannon Reeves from HWEA and Akeisha Wilkerson from Christian County Public Schools.
The Focus Spirit Award winner was Jamon Brisby, who was recognized as being easily motivated, inspired, encouraging of others, and for showing tremendous dedication during the eight-month training period.
