Expect milder temperatures this week and a little rain, but we should again avoid any severe weather or flooding rainfalls.
Sean Poulos with the National Weather Service in Paudcah said during the weekly conference call that the warmup will bring temperatures to near normal in the upper 70’s later this week until rainfall arrives by Friday morning.
That rain on Friday shouldn’t be too big of a deal, with about a half-inch expected.
While next week’s forecast is for normal temperatures and precipitation, the overall forecast for the month of May shows cooler than normal temps and less than average rainfall.
There is currently no risk for severe weather or flooding in the forecast.
