Tuesday is deadline to request mail-in absentee ballot, in-person absentee voting begins Wednesday

Tuesday night at 11:59 is the deadline to request a mail-in paper absentee ballot for the upcoming May primary election.

Christian County Clerk Melinda Humphries says log onto govoteky.com if you won’t be available to cast your ballot in-person early or on May 16—which is Election Day.

In-house absentee voting is Wednesday through Saturday and Monday through Wednesday of next week at the Christian County Courthouse and Humphries says the same rules apply then regarding voting absentee.

Todd County Clerk Cindy O’Bryan says in-person absentee voting will be on the same days there at the county courthouse on East Washington Street.

Early voting in Christian County will be May 11-13 at the Bruce Convention Center and Christian County Senior Center and in Todd County, it will be at the courthouse.
