A Trigg County woman is charged with drug trafficking after she was arrested over the weekend at a traffic safety checkpoint in Lyon County.
Kentucky State Police and the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office were conducting the checkpoint and made contact with 18-year old Reaynne Maselli of Cadiz, who was a passenger in a car where the driver was arrested for DUI.
Police say Maselli was found to be under the influence of a substance and in possession of illegal drugs before being arrested. She was charged with trafficking in meth, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, prescription pills not in the proper container and public intoxication (excluding alcohol).
