A single-vehicle accident Wednesday in Lyon County sent the driver to the hospital.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office investigated and determined 69-year old Paul Story of Kuttawa had been westbound on Old Kuttawa Road when a mechanical issue left him unable to steer his vehicle.
The automobile went off the road, struck a culvert and went airborne before coming to rest against a tree.
Story was taken by EMS to Caldwell County Medical Center for evaluation.
