Chick-fil-A awards nine scholarships to local employees

Chick-fil-A has announced that nine of their local employees have been awarded $2,500 college Leadership Scholarships from the company.

They are Alyssa Adler, JuKyiah Catlett, Leslee Cook, Amelia Fancher, Joshua Groves, Kylee Knight, Makayla Marshall, Morgan Overton and Matthew Rogers and Jeromy Thompson with Chick-fil-A says it’s a lengthy process and they were proud to have so many recipients.

He says the local store has traditionally had many Leadership Scholarship winners because of efforts by manager Caralyn Metz-Spears and others to help any way they can.

Chick-fil-A has presented scholarships to employees since 1973.
