The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans asphalt paving along a section of KY 274 in northern Trigg County starting Tuesday.
According to a news release, the project runs along Rockcastle Road from about mile point 9 at the intersection with Goose Hollow Road at Handy Korner extending northward through the Rockcastle area to the Trigg-Lyon County Line near mile point 11, a distance of just over 2 miles.
Motorists should be alert for one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers and appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and paving personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
This $245,000 maintenance paving project is expected to take about two weeks to complete, weather permitting. c
