Western Kentucky Congressman James Comer says spending cuts will have to be part of any deal to raise the nation’s debt ceiling and he believes the Republican primary for governor will come down to Kelly Craft and Daniel Cameron.
He says congress has to raise the debt ceiling to not default on debt, but it’s also time to reduce spending.
Comer assures that Republicans are not looking to cut social security or Medicare, but says nothing else is out of bounds.
He has supported Craft for governor and says he believes it will be a close race that comes down between her and Cameron.
