A man was arrested on a first-degree assault charge Friday afternoon after he allegedly punched a woman while wearing brass knuckles.
An arrest citation from Hopkinsville police for 40-year old Bobbie Dupin of Hopkinsville alleges he struck the 22-year old female victim in the face while wearing brass knuckles, causing the victim to be knocked unconscious.
The woman was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident happened in the 1100 block of West Seventh Street and Dupin was arrested and charged with assault in the first-degree.
