Man served with warrant for not complying with sex offender registry

A Hopkinsville man was served with a warrant Wednesday night for violating terms of the sex offender registry.

The warrant alleges that in May of last year, Kentucky State Police went to the address 33-year old Johnnie Gregg listed as his residence on three occasions and he could not be found.

Police say Gregg was previously convicted of failing to comply with the registry in 2018.

The Christian County Jail website also shows several other charges, including fleeing or evading police, leaving the scene of an accident, contempt of court, probation violation, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
