Teen flown to Nashville hospital after accident

A teenager was flown to a Nashville hospital following a two-vehicle accident Wednesday morning on US 68 at Everetts Lane.

It happened just before 11:15 a.m. and involved an SUV and a truck.

A male teen had to be extricated from his vehicle and was flown from the scene by Air Evac to Skyline Medical Center, according to Hopkinsville Fire and EMS Lt. Payton Rogers.

Another patient was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
