Attorney for Hazel Street to seek bond reduction, trial date

The attorney for Leon Grimes, who is accused in the July, 2021 shooting death of Calvin Buckner at a party on Hazel Street, is looking to have his bond reduced and to schedule a trial.

Louisville attorney Ted Shouse told Christian Circuit Judge Judge Andrew Self Wednesday afternoon that he will be arguing for bond modification and looking to set a trial date when they’re back in court next week.

Grimes is charged with murder in the case.
