>>Titans Have Inquired On Aaron Rodgers Deal

(Nashville, TN)  —  The Titans are being linked to a star quarterback.  A former league executive appearing on the NFL Analysis Network said Tennessee has inquired on the availability of Aaron Rodgers.  The former executive said, “While the likely outcome for Rodgers is still the Jets, the Titans have reached out recently.  If things fall apart with New York, Tennessee would have a shot at acquiring him.”  The Jets and Packers are still working out trade compensation as the draft gets closer.  Meanwhile, the Titans were one of many teams that started their offseason program yesterday.

 

>>Eagles Break Record With Hurts Deal

(Philadelphia, PA)  —  The Eagles are making their star quarterback the highest paid player in league history.  ESPN reports Jalen Hurts has signed a five-year, 255-million-dollar contract extension to stay in Philadelphia.  The deal includes just over 179-million in guaranteed money.  Hurts broke the previous NFL record for highest average annual value on a contract.  The star quarterback will make 51-million-dollars per year while current Packers QB Aaron Rodgers averages 50-point-three million.  The contract also includes a no-trade clause, which is a first in team history.
