Madisonville investigation leads to arrests on drug charges

An investigation by the Madisonville-Hopkins County Vice-Narcotics Task Force in Madisonville Monday afternoon led to the arrests of three people on drug charges.

Detectives served a search warrant at a home on Hopewell Street and a news release says police found a large amount of methamphetamine, pills, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a gun and a large amount of cash.

Police say there was also a four-year old child in the home.

The investigation led to the arrest of 27-year old Kimberly Hale and 46-year old Jarrod Carroll of Madisonville for wanton endangerment, trafficking in meth and trafficking in marijuana.

Police arrested 51-year old Lanna Hale of Madisonville for possession of meth and tampering with evidence.
