Anyone interested in becoming a first-time homeowner now or in the future is encouraged to attend a Free Homeowner’s Workshop hosted by the local NAACP Saturday at the Christian County Sheriff’s Office.
Nikki Chambers says it will be from 10 until 2 and anyone interested in purchasing a home is welcome to come and learn more about the process.
Realtors, lenders and others involved in the process will be on hand for the event.
Chambers says even if you believe you aren’t ready to own a home, there may programs available to help you prepare.
